1. Movies…Irrational Man…Woody Allen Writes/Directs Murder And Sex!
One Murder And Lots Of Consensual Sex! Not By Woody, Though!
Joaquin Phoenix is having sex with Emma Stone and Parker Posey in the middle of Woody Allen’s new murder mystery. Posey is the wife of the college’s philosophy department chairman and Stone is the girlfriend of an Oxford bound college senior. Emma Stone is the agog classroom student flattered by Phoenix and his compliments. Posey needs a divorce excuse and someone to take her to live in romantic Spain. A small college campus is not Parker Posey’s milieu. Maybe not Joaquin’s either.
Joaquin is an noted author, alcoholic, and philosophy professor presently without any direction for his existential philosophies or his college teaching. Everyone on campus wants to sleep with the new guy. Joaquin needs a muse and Woody dangles Stone and Parker as possible candidates. As the movie progresses, everyone in the audience is voting for their favorite and contemplating in which way Phoenix’s life will be changed for the better or worse by the two woman. The key to movie enlightenment is if Phoenix is worthy of all this attention. The girls obviously think so!
Love is about to happen for one of the female leads. While the audience is guessing, Woody Allen, then, throws in a murder most foul. Hopelessly hooked, you will then join the lovers on the road less traveled. Enjoy!
2. Music…Jesse Rivera…His Guitar Brings The World To Your Playlist!
A Master Plays The Sounds Of Mexico, Puerto Rico, Brazil, and Cuba!
After hearing Jesse Rivera play, you immediately run for pencil and paper to write about Jesse and his creative guitar work. His music is outstanding. Just as enjoyable and informative, though, is the information he shares in his concerts about the origins of the music he sings and the uniqueness of the countries the music represents. Here is what Jesse shared for Let’s Talk Philadelphia.
It was nice to see you at the Lopatcong Community Day last Saturday.
Thank you for offering to include me in your word press site.
Feel free to correct any spelling, grammar, wording and sequence.
Also feel free to choose any or all the pictures.
Thank you for the opportunity.
Jesse Rivera is an 8 time Lehigh Valley Music Award winning Latin guitarist and singer-songwriter located in Lopatcong, New Jersey. He started playing guitar at age 8 in his hometown on the island of Puerto Rico, where he was born. Jesse has traveled one million airline miles to 19 countries to perform his magic. He has been a standout in theaters, clubs, and smaller venues, as well as, in stadiums for audiences of 50,000.
In spite of his international success, Jesse remains humble and you can find him performing locally in his neighborhood’s festivals and in public libraries and schools.
As part of his achievements, Rivera has recorded 14 albums. He, also, garnered the 2007 Paoli Awards as the Latin Gospel Singer-Songwriter of the Year. This music event was televised by Telemundo. Mr. Rivera owns a professional recording studio, a personal collection of 14 classic guitars and due to the flexibility he needed, he became a certified recording engineer and a music producer for himself and other artist colleagues. Jesse is a highly sought after bilingual guitar instructor for institutions and private settings. He is, also, a New Jersey Department of Education dual certified teacher.
3. Business…College Sex!…It Exists!
This is a sex test!
In the world of writing, the number one rule is to write for your readers not yourself. Writing for the Internet courses remind you to stress your audience’s favorite topics not yours, if you want to increase your readership!
Our Let’s Talk Philadelphia column is distributed to 20 relisting sites with thousands of readers. It is, also, distributed to 400 individual readers…with an additional 2,000 individual readers before retiring the column from Facebook. We write about what we find interesting and hope others will find our topics interesting, too.
This is a does sex sell test? Our mentors said our headlines are not inspiring enough to attract new readers. 4,000 friends on LinkedIn get this column in their mailbox each week. Only ten percent open the column. We are trying to now confirm our mentor’s hypothesis. Raise your hand, please, if you opened the column because you saw sex in the title! Raise both hands if you want more articles with a sex theme! Sorry this is a one time offering only. We are church going people! In any case, when you open this column on your computer, please drop your email in the follow box in the bottom right hand corner of your screen. Please enjoy our positive approach to everything.
We were going to write about Alphabetical Sex, the new rage on campus. However, with all of this week’s college sex scandals with under aged participants, Jared’s Subway sex fiasco, and the Duggar sex in the family news, we decided to pull our article. Sorry! Another vote will be taken on Alphabetical Sex before the next issue!
4. Television…South African Television Blows Things Up…Big Time!
A Glimpse Of The Middle East And Africa!
Forbes Magazine calls Strike Back one of the best programs on television. Strike Back is about to complete its fifth and final year. Crowdfunding seems to say year six might be in the works, too. The program has world wide appeal!
The Middle East is the backdrop for Strike Back, an old time thriller. Military hijinks, kidnappings, war games, assassinations, religious conflicts, and local dictators dot this fast paced action series each week. The Strike Back novel was written by Special British Air Services (SAS) officer Chris Ryan. Ryan lived the stories he tells.
If it is happening in the Middle East, it is happening on this show. Watching Strike Back definitely expands the viewer’s world perspective. It, also, gives multiple points of view on Iraq, Afghanistan, the African continent, and the Persian Gulf nations. Everywhere the program was shown from London to Cinemax USA to South Africa station ratings tripled.
Richard Armitrage and Andrew Lincoln are the Strike Force leaders. Each year their commanders from Scott Dugay to Rhona Mitra get eliminated in the most brutal of ways. Armitrage and Lincoln always survive unimaginable events to miraculously appear the next year. Every American, European, and South African actor that looks professional and believable holding a pistol or an Uzi has appeared on this show.
You will be become addicted and more knowledgeable on world affairs once you begin watching this program. We haven’t seen three of our office workers in a week.
5. Education…EFL Magazine…A Resource Special!
A Great Support For English Language Learners And Their Teachers!
Here is what Philip asked us to share about his very worthwhile endeavor:
EFL Magazine was born out of the idea of bringing truly great content from the best people to English language teachers worldwide. Our magazine and resources will greatly improve the lives of those language teachers and their students.
The aims of EFL Magazine are simple yet ambitious: to be the world’s number one magazine for English language teachers, to improve teachers’ lives by supplying the best content and access to the best people to the reader, and to be an arena for change and innovation in how English is taught in an era of massive change in education.
I aim to spend the funding on improving the site and offering much more to the reader in terms of great content.
6. Television/Movies II...The Transporter…A Glimpse At Europe And Beyond!
The Transporter is on every movie and television magazine cover. It is one of the most lucrative series for both mediums. The Transporter television series starring Chris Vance is drawing big numbers in its second year. Part four in the movie series The Transporter: Refueled starring Ed Skrein opens in theaters world wide next week.
The bond-like themes of The Transporter feature a man, his car, beautiful women, and unique and exotic packages a small car will hold and transport at great rates of speed. This all happens before evading miscreants try to snatch these objects and people from The Transporter. These transported packages are interesting people, pieces of art work, jewels, secret documents, chemical weapons, small children, the abused, and endangered parrots. The endangered parrot’s theme might be a stretch!
The original Transporter movie series was written by Luc Besson and Bill Collage. Jason Statham (Frank Martin) starred with French inspector Francois Berleand. Berleand nearly captures Martin on the right side of trouble in Transporter I. By Transporter II, they become crime solving best friends. Hey! It is the movies. Statham has been replaced in the new series out next week. The comparisons of fast drivers and great fighters will be after movie chatter. The new guy (Skrein) is transporting three beautiful women to bank and jewelry robberies. How was he supposed to know? The world of good and bad guys/girls are after him/them.
Drive safe new guy!
Olga Kurylenko, Andrea Osvart, and Delphine Chaneac are prettier than the Bond girls and provide more support and action to both of these Transporter series.
