195. Charlize Theron, Paul Newman, Elvis Presley, And Collabro!

The Best Of Let’s Talk Philadelphia!

Here Are Let’s Talk Philadelphia’s Best Bets For The Week!

A Happy Tenth Birthday IPhone!
You Really Changed The Game!

A Happy 82nd Birthday Elvis Presley!
You Really Changed The Game!

1. The New Movie…Atomic Blonde Explodes Into Your Theaters This Week!
Charlize Theron Exposes Her Breasts, Her Brains, And A Lot Of Brawn!

Charlize Theron has won the Academy Award (Monster, 2003), Golden Globe Award, Silver Bear Award, and Screen Actors Guild Award for her exceptional acting. She is in the top ten of Hollywood moneymakers every year and on Time’s List of the 100 Most Influential People In The World. She has acted in, voice overed, and produced twenty-five films in the last ten years.

It isn’t a stretch, then, for the British MI6 agency (James Bond before James Bond) to send her to Berlin in 1998 to save the Cold War. She is assigned to retrieve a list of British spies working in Russia and Berlin. Naturally, death will reign everywhere if this list is exposed to the highest bidder. The exposure of this list will crush the British, American, German, and Russian Cold War battle. The Berlin Wall is about to come down and new spy alliances are about to be formed.

James McAvoy, John Goodman, Til Schweiger, Eddie Marsan, and Toby Jones help and hinder Charlize (Lorraine) in this retrieval effort. The exotic, new British agent, Sofia Boutella is Charlize’s love interest in the movie. Charlize kisses her passionately and trains her while destroying ten opposing agents in great, choreographed fight scenes. Critics are calling Charlize Theron a new name, the John Wick (Keanu Reeves) of fighters. Bruce Lee is a more appropriate comparison in this slugfest.

Ronald Reagan is also the hero in this story (The Coldest City by Kurt Johnstad) as the Berlin Wall comes down after 29 years and 5,000 successful leaps across the wall and even more deaths. Gwen Stefani added to a great soundtrack, but didn’t help in any of the fight scenes. Sorry, The Voice lovers.

2. The Best On Demand Movie Of The Week…Twilight!
Paul Newman Assembles The Best Detective Cast In Cinema History!
Where Is A Good Old Time Detective Movie When You Need One!

Do you enjoy Paul Newman in a fast paced or slow paced mode?
The 84 movies that Paul Newman starred in, directed, and did voice overs for can calm you down or rev you up in a minute. Just don’t look into his hypnotic blue eyes. In Twilight, Newman is a calm, retired detective that is about to get revved up by delivering a package of payoff money for his best friend Gene Hackman. Newman lives with the moneyed Hackman and has a thing for Hackman’s wife. If someone only told trusting Paul about the money before hand!

Gene Hackman is dying and wants to clear up all the past sins of he and his wife Susan Sarandon. Even before the package can be delivered, bodies start piling up all over the place. Newman’s former friends in the police department Stockard Channing, (a former lover) and Giancarlo Esposito get involved as Newman is found at multiple murder scenes. Newman can’t help himself.

Wait! Still more stars to come! James Garner is in the same detective business that Newman once prowled. Garner is in the thick of all the investigations. Margo Martindale and her son Liev Schreiber are blackmailing everyone and add to the body count. Youngness is thrown in with Reese Witherspoon as Hackman’s daughter.

3. The Best Sequel Of The Week!
From Enchanted To Disenchanted!

Say it ain’t so Amy Adams and Mr. Mc Dreamy. Eleven years after the original, you are going to bring the cast back in 2018? How could the princess’s life be anything but perfect. You will try to convince us that trouble from the cartoon world is still after you? Susan Sarandon has been de-witched and can’t harm you in any way.The movie is one of ten remakes out next year. Five stations review all the movies out in 2018 with great trailers.

Maybe Idina Menzel will sing and dance in this one. Sing please sweet songbird! Please do not re-make Pretty Woman next! Pretty Please!

4. The Best Music Of The Week!
It Is In Collabro’s Stars To Be Great!
They’ll Make Their Mothers And Les Miserables’ Fans Proud!

For the second week in a row we are traveling across the Atlantic for this week’s musical selection. Collabro is the only singing group to win Britain’s Got Talent (2014). Since their victory in 2014 in front of forty million viewers, they have performed twenty-five shows a year across the world. The boys can sing to the nth degree with no emerging star!

Collabro’s winning song on the BGT show and first album title is Stars. It is a cover of the featured song in Les Miserable, the musical. The five-some do a powerful rendition of the song. The song can be found at this long address or just putting it in a YouTube search. https://video.search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?fr=yhsm-SGMedia-sgmedia_tracker&hsimp=yhs-sgmedia_tracker&hspart=SGMedia&p=collabro+you+tube#id=3&vid=78d16f8d64731e92553d082160d2fb3f&action=click

Collabro has three albums that would make great presents for any music lover. They feature four great voices and performers after one of the original group, Richard Hadfield, went solo. He is not having as much success as Justin Timberlake and Diana Ross did with their new singing careers after their group break-ups. Sample these three songs by Collabro and you will run to Amazon or Best Buys to buy their albums.
1. Stars
2. If I Had A Dream
3. A Thousand Years

5. The Best In Fashion Sense And Scents!
Daisy By Marc Jacobs Is Way More Than A Flower!
We Enjoyed Enjoying This Fragrance!

Our office’s fragrance testing and evaluation protocols have changed…drastically changed! We can no longer afford to buy testing products and fragrances for everyone in the office for evaluation. We don’t want to be compromised by accepting samples from various companies, either. We now visit the fragrance departments of Macy’s, Bloomingdale, Sak’s, and the Dollar Store to interview their counter salespeople.

We asked a male and female salesperson to pick the top two fragrances sales-wise and two fragrances they think shouldn’t be overlooked. We then let the testing/sniffing begin. One half of a glass of white wine ( for daisies) is consumed between each fragrance test to not contaminate the smells. This is the best part of the testing, by far.

This week’s selection is Daisy by Marc Jacobs. In addition to its summery fragrance was the winning displays at all the stores where it was being sold. The displays set the summer field of flowers mood while you were sampling the product. It was great marketing at its best. Two of the clerks after our selection told us they were wearing Daisy, too, without any remuneration from the store or company. Go Marc Jacobs!

Coleen O’Brien: Entrepreneur Extraordinary!
Her Products Will Start You Off In Your New Business!
Working From Home Or In Your Community Is A Hoot.

Here is what Colleen shared with us…My drive in my business is in the thought that someone will put my products in their lives and through that it drives me to deliver as many products to them with the thought that I am adding value to an occasion/event/day to day activities. Knowing that something I offered is being presented through the thought that someone like you is motivation of my next stage or adaptation of getting these products to you!

Now this leads me into “My work” and how I deliver it to you. Over the past year I have been decidedly directing my business into how I can spread my brands names throughout not only my local business connections but across the states and the international sector as well. The question is, “How do I tie the masses and link them direct to me?” The answer to this is. The obvious-talk to the palpable consumer not only through technology, websites, ads, but the new “Now” live feeds of video and social media! I am immediately with you and in someone’s home, life, and daily activities all day and night 24 hours a day! The best part of this is people find you! Now I am a direct link to you! Please enjoy some of the imagery of my products. I offer lifestyle brands and something for everyone.
